As a Product Manager, I helped build a solution for faster on-boarding of dental providers on to the Insurer's network. Helping bring down the on-boarding time from 15 days to just under 5 days and save a few hundred thousand dollars! The NADP ranks this Insurer as the top 2 insurers in terms of time to on-board!

Policy administration quick view
Introducing our new web-based application designed to the customer service experience! After facing with a complicated policy administration system, we created a solution that consolidates all necessary information onto a single page, allowing our teams to access data quickly efficiently. The impact was remarkable—call wait times were significantly reduced, and the application received praise across multiple teams for its effectiveness. We're proud to our service quality and improve customer satisfaction!

Rate discounting
As a Product Manager, I am proud to introduce the innovative solution I helped build for our insurance wholesalers. This platform enabled our team to apply discounts on group insurance products, providing tailored pricing that meets the unique needs of potential employers. By considering all products in one transaction, wholesalers can optimize their discounts while benefiting from improved compensation structures. This helped streamline our offerings and strengthen broker relationships with this cutting-edge approach!

Dental Claims staging
In early 2020, as the pandemic impacted operations worldwide, a dental insurance company faced a significant backlog in claims due to their offshore team needing to be in office. To address this challenge, we swiftly integrated an OCR-based solution, Hyperscience, into their internal systems. This innovation allowed the claims operations team to work remotely, focusing only on edge cases, which streamlined the staging of dental claims efficiently. As a result, the insurer was able to maintain productivity and adapt to the new normal.

Dental Claims EDI/EFT payments
journey towards modernizing our payment process began when we transitioned from traditional checks to electronic payments. By selecting a reliable payment vendor and closely with our claims system vendor, we successfully integrated EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) standards compliant payment files. This ensured that all payment data was not only accurate but also informative. Impressively, within the first year, we managed to convert over 50% of our dental providers to electronic payments, streamlining our operations enhancing efficiency.

Disability claims accounting
At our company, we pride on offering popular disability income protection products. We recognized the complexities involved in managing claims, with the need for seamless downstream integrations. Our solution effectively streamlines the entire process, from claims adjudication to accurate payments, accounting, reporting, and customer communication. We ensure all employer preferences regarding tax handling are met with precision and clarity.
